- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat, then sauté the diced onion and sliced mushrooms for 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in 1/2 cup of heavy cream, garlic powder, thyme, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick and cut into circles for the tartlet pans.
- Place the pastry circles into the tartlet pans, fill with the creamy mushroom mixture, and top with grated cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then invert onto a serving platter and garnish with fresh parsley.
