Instructions

- In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: vegetable oil, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the crushed pineapple, mashed bananas, and chopped nuts until evenly distributed.
- Divide the batter among the prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
- For the frosting, beat together cream cheese and butter until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Assemble the cake by layering the cooled cakes with cream cheese frosting in between and on top, decorating as desired.
