- 2 tablespoons soy sauce

- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 1–2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
- Optional: 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, sliced chili peppers, 1 teaspoon sugar or honey, additional vegetables (broccoli, snap peas), chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken by combining it with soy sauce and cornstarch in a bowl. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and stir-fry the marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Add sliced bell pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, add black pepper and oyster sauce (if using), and toss everything together until well combined.
